Classroom Happenings

Here are a few pictures from the fun we had this week.  

We are learning about shapes, and for snack we had crackers shaped as rectangles, squares, and triangles. I wish I could have found hexagons, but I didn't have any luck! 

This we also learned about color mixing.  We read the book, Mouse Paint, and mixed food coloring using paper towels.  The students were all able to have a good view with the help of our document camera. I don't know how I taught with one before.  Here are a few pictures below.  

Here we are learning about sorting by color.  

They all look so serious concentrating and working so hard!
