We only have two and a half days this week, but one of the activities that I will be using is a turkey sight word game. You can print this off and even play it at home to practice those sight words. First cut up the cards and lay them in a pile face down. Each player takes a turn drawing a card and saying the sight word. If he or she gets it wrong, it goes back into the pile. If he or she gets it correct then they keep it and its the next players turn. This continues until a Pilgrim is drawn. This stops the game and players count to see how many turkeys they collected. The person with the most wins! Get the activity here.
