Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast 2011

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I feel so blessed this year with such a fantastic class! We had a great feast and had so many parents attend! The kids looked so cute in all of their outfits! We couldn't have done it without all of the great help from the parents and Mrs. Blythe (our fantastic librarian)!

Tomorrow is a workday for teachers and we are going to be learning more about Daily 5 and CAFE! I can't wait to hear more. I was reading the CAFE book over the weekend and couldn't put it down! CAFE is a component to Daily 5 to help students learn reading structures. It's pure genius! I wish I would have had it the past 6 years of teaching!! Thanks to two of the first grade teachers for introducing it to us!!
