Brown Bear, Brown Bear

We read a favorite book of mine and a very well liked book by my students, Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? The children enjoyed the repetition and helped me read the book. After reading the book we worked on several projects. One was to place the characters in the correct order. I could tell this was a book many of you read at home with your child because many of the children knew right away what was next! We also graphed our favorite character. One of our center activities was to put the characters in an AB pattern. The final project was to create a class book, Mrs. Shininger's Class, Mrs. Shininger's Class, Who Do You See? Each child has his or her own page in the book. This book will be coming home with your child for a night. I ask that you please read the book as well as Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?
