MAP Olympics

The students and I were very excited by the Olympics this year. Shaun White was one of the best athletes to watch! To use some of that excitement we have done various activities using an Olympic theme. Preparing for the MAP tests can be very boring for students and even the teacher. To help make things more exciting we have been conducting MAP Olympics! Students are divided into teams to complete MAP review items. Students have created team names and cheers. The stakes are high! The winners will receive genuine plastic gold metals! :) Throughout the activities students are still working independently and I am also working with small groups to review various concepts.
